Needs Assessment/Health Check

The purpose of a Needs Assessment is to provide an unbiased assessment of your project management process, system and/or requirements through the use of data-gathering and analysis techniques. The Assessment will help determine the current state of affairs within your organization, and identify the gaps between the current and desired states. An Assessment will also help you achieve results, minimize potential problems/conflicts, improve ROI, and reach strategic goals.

The force that drives a Needs Assessment is the desire for change, or to enhance current practices. This desire for change can take many forms.
