Oracle Primavera Contract Management 13.0

New in Version 13.0
Contract Management has been redesigned to provide an improved user experience. Contract Management 13.0 is a major release, and contains the following enhancements and new features:

  • Document windows, and complex dialog boxes, now use tabs to make navigation easier. It is no longer necessary to expand and collapse sections of the windows or dialog boxes.
  • When using the Select an Action drop-down list, the action starts when you select an item. There is no longer a Go button to click.
  • You can save versions of all Contract Management documents. These html files provide a history of project documents over time. You can configure Contract Management to automatically create document versions, or you can manually create them. Use the newly added Version tab in the document windows to view all available versions of a specific document.
  • You can choose whether to store your project documents on a file server or on the Contract Management content repository.
  • When using the content repository to store project documents, you can choose from Oracle UCM, SharePoint, or Jackrabbit (a repository internal to Contract Management ).
  • Authentication of user IDs and passwords can be done through LDAP. This was set up during Contract Management installation and configuration. By using LDAP, user information can be stored on a common server. This enables multiple applications (for example, Project Management and Contract Management ) to use the same user access information.
  • Contract Management 13.0 supports Mozilla Firefox web browser 3.
  • Contract Management 13.0 supports UK English.
  • Contract Management 13.0 supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 web browser.
